Daft Discount is a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.co.uk and other Amazon sites.

In plain English: click one of our Amazon links, buy something, Amazon pays us a small cut. You pay exactly the same price you would have paid without the link. The commission comes out of Amazon's slice, not your wallet.

Where you'll see affiliate links

Most product names and the "buy" buttons in our reviews are affiliate links. We don't disguise them or route them through redirects. Hover any link and you'll see it pointing straight at the relevant amazon.co.uk page.

How this affects what we recommend

It doesn't. The verdict's decided before the link gets added. We've turned down higher-paying programmes when the product wasn't worth recommending.

If a competitor sells a better product on a worse commission rate, we point you at the better product. Maths is simple: a site that recommends rubbish stops being read, at which point the commissions dry up anyway.
